Love this tent!!!
By Shefali
This tent is amazing and I highly recommend it, especially for family camping. I used it this past weekend with my brother, his wife, and 2 kids. It definatley weathered the storms on Friday night and Sunday morning. Here are some of the ups and downs:The Good/Great Stuff:-relatively easy to set up once you figure out the instructions...should only take 10-15mins with 2 people-this tent is HUGE!!! only had to bend down to get in and out of the door but other than that it has plenty of standing room; I don't know about sleeping 10 people - at least comfortably - but this morning there were 7 of us (5 adults and 2 kids) comfortably sitting/laying around while it rained and we weren't even in the screened room-the screened room and 4 windows (including on the door) are great for ventilation on hot days-screen room also has an entrance and easily fits a queen size mattress with room to spare-this tent very comfortably slept 5 people, with plenty of room to spare for our gear/food during the t-storm-amazingly withstood the torrential downpour this past Friday night with very little water entering the tent-very solid framing held up during the storm in the high wind-the hinged door velcros shut and there is a flap of material that goes over the zipper to make sure bugs and water stay out-tent and most of the poles fit easily back inside the storage bag, just the longest poles did not fit in there but I'm pretty sure those came with a bag of there own which we most likely lostThe (not too) Bad Stuff:-the instructions were pretty bad and some of the red stickers that marked the longer poles came off in the box so we had to redo all of the poles until we finally got it right...but it still only took about 30 min the first time to set it up and only about 10 to takedown-a little water did get into the tent throught the back right window, but it was nothing to worry about. other than that, some water got in during the storm due to the wind blowing it right under the rainfly and through the roof-only 2 small pouches for storage-the room divider is weak; just a sheet of nylon that zips open/closedAll in all this was a great buy (on sale for $150 at Cosco). I am very happy with this tent and I cant wait to use it again!

Heavy to Carry But Worth The Weight!
By Lisa
First of all we just bought this tent about a month ago at Costco for $159.99! AWESOME BUY!!! We could hardly believe our eyes when we saw the price. This tent is roomy -- lots of space to move around and great head clearance! It's tan in color (no green trim as it appears in some of the pictures here) so it's nice and bright inside. Self rolling windows, "hinged" door, screen porch with the floor extending from the tent and option to close off for privacy...what more could you ask for?I will say we sit and laugh every time we look at the bag and it says "Sleeps 10". There's no way 10 people could even stand in this tent together without feeling claustrophobic. Besides, where would these 10 people put all their gear? They'd need another tent just for that! I would say it could comfortably accommodate two adults and two children, one adult and three children, or three adults. I wouldn't put more people in it than that. Please note: Coleman has a similar tent -- The Weathermaster 6. It is SIMILAR to this tent but they ARE NOT the same. Here are some differences...Footprint: WM Screened 10 - 16 x 10; WM Screened 6 - 17 x 9 (I like the extra width as I'm not sure you would even notice the length because of the screened room.Screened Area: WM Screened 10 - Can be closed off for privacy and/or additional living/sleeping space; WM Screened 6 - Cannot be closed off. It is basically a screened porch (as opposed to being called a room) for your tent.Floor: WM Screened 10 - Extends from inside of tent to screened room area; WM Screened 6 - Screened area has no floor and no zipper along the ground area that divides the inside of the tent from the outside. There may be more but that's what I know of right off.As for setup, we set it up in about 20 minutes (2 of us). Once we got the hang of what we were doing it was pretty simple, but the instructions are vague so just take some time to look at your parts and how you need to do everything before you get started. Basically you want to put all your top poles together (the bottom and top center/arched poles have a red dot that matches them up). Insert the tops into the tent, add the legs to the bottom of those poles, then lift the entire tent (the tension will make it pop up). Now insert the clamps into the poles to position. Add door frame poles and window rollers. You're done.Happy camping!

confusion abounds but GREAT results
By richard
I ordered this thinking I'd get an 8 person tent. What arrived was a screened 10 person.Wonderful ! We set up the tent and are totally pleased with the item. With a few caveats...*The room divider is flimsy, and there are only two small storage pockets. * Set-up instructions are really weak, I have been tent camping all my life (59 years old) and never had a tent with such incomplete instructions. That having been said, I'm sure that the 2nd time we set up the tent the set up will be much quicker. There are red dots on some of the leg pieces, they go into the red-marked sleeves. Shoulda made that clear, Coleman* If 10 people had to sleep in this tent, I would NOT want to be one of them. I think perhaps 6 adults would be the max that could be comfortableAnd that is all I can say that may be even the smallest bit negative. The one delivered to me measures 10 x 16 inside, 17.5 feet diagonally. I'm 5-11, and there is not one place in the tent that needed any bending over. More headroom than I have had in any previous family-style tent. There are a lot of descriptions for Weathermaster 8 screened, Weathermaster 10 screened, Weathermaster 8 and 10 non-screened tents, on Amazon, Coleman website and all the other vendors I researched. Do your due diligence and contact vendors before placing your order, but if you need a gpood size tent, this is the one !
